Thomas Åberg was born in Stockholm 1952 and works
there as composer and music administrator. Most of his works are written for
the organ and are characterised by their rhythmical joy, simplicity and
humour. His music has been performed by organists at festivals throughout
Europe and also in Japan and the USA. He also tours regularly as concert
organist with his own works.

Highlights
First solo concert, Stockholm 1981; Lectured at Sibelius Academy,
Helsinki 1990; Played digital organ at outdoors concerts, Stockholm
1992-1993; 6 concerts in Stockholm Cathedral during Stockholm Water Festival
1994; Toured USA 1996; Recital in Washington National Cathedral 1998; Guest
at Southeast Missouri State University 2000; Recital in the Mormon Church in
Jerusalem, Israel 2001. (Concert tour to California was scheduled to
September 12-17 2001, cancelled due to the national tragedy in the US,
September 11th). Recitals in Wilster & Krempe (Germany) 2004; Composer
Portrait, Allhelgonakyrkan Lund (Sweden) 2006; Toured USA 2006.
